Name: Orchid
Gender: Female
Name's Meaning: magnificence, love, beauty, refinement
Personality: She is gifted with a beautiful voice, but rarely uses it due to her intense shyness. She will however alert her surrounding neighbors to any danger with a sharp trill of warning. Orchid believes in finding true friends and so doesn't have very many. But the two that she has, she cherishes and is forever loyal towards. Her home is nestled in an unnaturally large birch tree, a small hole shaped door provides the entrance into the trunk.
Talents and Others Details:
-Singing: Her voice is clear and she can stretch it to many different variations.
-Running: Her lithe body and strong limbs allow her great speed and she can easily out maneuver predators and her prey.
-Flying: Her swallow's beautiful flight patterns were made sloppy by her fox body, thus she lacks any of the flawless flying of her ancestors and often makes mistakes that wind up landing her in a heap. However, her love for flight stays strong and she dreams of finding ways around her handicap.
Her favorite food is raspberries and walnuts. She prefers to stay vegetarian. During the winter, she will resort to eating voles and shrews, but never birds or rabbits.
Lol, that became more in depth then I thought it would, but man, I love putting together new characters <333 For the ref sheet itself, just fit in what you can, it doesn't have to have all of this on it, mostly the name, gender, and personality please :3 It'd be waaaay too crowded otherwise haha.
Love your icon BTW
Excuse me? Where did it state in the Artist's Comments that you would notify somebody when they were outbid? It didn't, that's just something you had in mind when you began the auction. However, considering you didn't offer to, nobody honestly expected that you would tell them when somebody else decided to bid on the design. If =Slendersuds wanted the character that badly, then they obviously would have checked back, like *kit did various times. She kept a close eye on the auction, she paid attention to the bidding, and she had the decency to ask you, after the auction ended, rather than simply assuming that she had won.
However, instead of stating that, yes, she got the adopt, you decided to extend the end date. Why? So that you could get more cash? Then you have the nerve to talk about how it wouldn't have been "unfair" of you to let her walk away with it. Snatching away an adoptable from somebody who adored it enough to come back more than once on a daily basis, only to give it to somebody who didn't even take the time to return and view the most decent bids? That is what's unfair. You just lost my respect, and I assure you, I won't be bidding on any of your auctions in the future. I'd rather take my points elsewhere.
I hope you have fun watching the design that you put hard work and time into go to waste, because I honestly doubt that the person you gave it to values it enough to draw it often.
Thanks for reading, and have a lovely day! (:
I do these for fun, not to get as much anything as i can out of them.
Now i'm deeply sorry that Kit lost the bid, I really am, but coming here and telling me that it was UNFAIR that I let the other bidder know they were outbid, is rather silly.
I don't need your respect, and I don't understand your deal, this isn't your issue and it never was a problem, so next time leave anything to the people it actually effects. Thank you.
